Q: I can't come to all the practice sessions, is that okay?

A:  WHAT you can not come to all of them?  You have other things to do?  Well, I guess that is fine. (My brother came to one practice...THE ONE JUST BEFORE THE PERFORMANCE!  I gave him a spot behind me and explained what to do.  I do not think anyone noticed so if you don't tell on me and my brother I will not tell on you when you skip a few.)

Q: Are you serious?  I haven't played the trumpet in over 20 years, can I still participate?

A: Yes, you might even turn in a practice card you use to get back in shape. All we really want are warm bodies with enthusiasm.

Q: Do I have to fit into my old uniform?

A: YOU HAVE YOUR UNIFORM!!!  Those were to be turned in at the end of every year.  You are in big trouble.

Q: Do I have to have a doctor's approval to march?

A: No, but if you have to ask this question...Yes, I would appreciate a doctor's release.

Q: If my friends, parents, and/or siblings are talking me into this do I really have to?
A: Yes you do...stop whining.
Q: Is is really as much fun as I hear?
A: YES NOW SHOW UP FOR PRACTICE!

Q: Can I get a drink during 3rd quarter or do I have to stay in my seat?
A: Not just 3rd quarter! As old as you're getting you probably need one every quarter! Careful though, once your on the field you have to make it through the show.
